1. About us
These terms apply to every order you place at https://gardenster.store. The website is operated by Gardenster (“we”, “us”), 124-128 City Road, London, England EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@gardenster.store or on +44 7760 468488.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will email you to confirm we have received it. A binding contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or a price was shown incorrectly, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken when you place your order using the payment methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details; payments are handled securely by our payment provider.
4. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery is free on all orders. We aim to dispatch orders within a few working days and will tell you if there is likely to be a delay. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the date of your order, please contact us. Goods are your responsibility once delivered. Please check them on arrival and tell us promptly if anything is damaged or missing.
5. Your right to cancel and return goods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. To cancel, tell us clearly (for example by email to contact@gardenster.store) and then send the goods back to us at the address above within 14 days of telling us. Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning them to us. Goods should be returned unused and in their original packaging where possible. We will refund the price you paid, and the standard delivery charge if you paid one, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving proof that you have sent them back, using the same payment method you used. We may reduce the refund if the goods have lost value because they were handled more than needed to check them. See our Shipping & Returns page for practical return instructions.
6. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, you can reject it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After that you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, or a price reduction or refund in some cases. Please contact us with your order number and a description or photo of the problem. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, as we only sell to consumers. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Product information and safety
We take care to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours may vary slightly on screen. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety warnings supplied with every product, especially for electrical, heating and outdoor items.
9. Your personal data
We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
10. Complaints
If you have a problem, please contact us first at contact@gardenster.store and we will do our best to put it right.
11. General
These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
